Sew perfectly straight edges and join fabrics together easily. The "fin" underneath the foot offers a solid foundation to push your fabric against as you sew. For perfect topstitching, move your needle all the way to the left, line your fabric against the fin and stitch. For crazy quilting, position the needle in the middle, put one fabric to the right of the fin, and a different fabric to the left, then stitch with a zigzag or decorative stitch that moves from side to side.
