Introduction to RSS

Q) What is RSS?
A) RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. It's a way for Schmetzneedles.com to provide any kind of information and for you, the customer, to receive this information in almost real time.

Q) What is needed to view the RSS information?
A) You need to have a RSS reader program. This can come in several different varieties.

Most browsers are starting to include the functionality to read RSS feeds.

Q) Why should I care about getting the RSS feed?
A) We are providing RSS feeds in an effort to keep you up-to-date on the latest product information and sewing news concerning everything Schmetz (and then some). We will also be posting discounts and information up on the web site but not everything will be displayed in a prominent place. From time to time we are also going to be publishing articles about the sewing industry. If you have an article or would like to write an article please email customerservice@schmetzneedles.com and include either a link to the article or a copy of the article itself. We welcome any and all articles. If your article is deemed acceptable we will post it through RSS and you will receive full credit.

New items will be published not only on the site but also through the RSS feed. If you install a RSS reader this will ensure that you have up-to-date information on new products that we will be carrying.

Your Sewing Machine is Only as

Good as the Needle Being Used!
